Client: OneCity Health (OCH) is a PPS in New York City formed out of NYC Health + Hospital Corporation, the largest public hospital network in the United States. OneCity Health’s need for a workforce training solution was immediate and in 2017, they partnered with HWNY.

Problem: OCH needed a robust solution to address the need for managing trainings and reporting across its massive network of 120,000+ partner organizations and their employees in the NYC metro area. OCH’s largest partner organization and key stakeholder, NYC Health + Hospitals, also needed to maintain streamlined access to the trainings for its 70,000+ employees form their native employee management system.

HWNY Solutions: Once a robust and customized Learning Management System (LMS) was implemented, HWNY setup Single Sign On (SSO) with NYC Health + Hospitals native environment to allow for its entire workforce to access the hundreds of trainings being offered seamlessly and without needing to create a new account or sign-in. In addition, HWNY provided end-user support and account services to ensure that using the platform provided the best experience.

Key features of the LMS included custom-built DSRIP workforce training delivery fields, information, and features, as well as powerful reporting interfaces, training evaluation and credit awarding functionality, user and organization management tools, and in-person and webinar training delivery features.

Impact:

Number of user accounts for employees who have access to OCH trainings and professional development opportunities: 75,367 which includes all of H+H’s employees who can access via single-sign on.

Number of course offerings ranging from metric-based to professional development opportunities: 309 unique courses with dozens of sessions for those that are in-person.

Number of registrations: 34,437 employee registrations into an online course, webinar, or in-person session.
